Six month term
Every package runs for six months. Month one is discovery and setup, month two is when work starts landing, and the compounding shows from three onwards. Anything shorter flatters the wrong numbers.
Scope
Tasks and services are agreed at the start of the term, so the hours go where they matter most.
Pricing
Shared in your discovery call, with an honest view of which tier you actually need. There is no automatic rollover at the end of the term and no exit fee.
Good to know
The questions
everyone asks.
What does marketing support cost?
Retainers are priced by monthly hours across four tiers, and one off projects are scoped and quoted individually. We share the numbers in your discovery call, along with an honest view of which tier you actually need. Most businesses spend less than they expect once the scope is clear.
How quickly can we start?
A discovery call, then a written scope, then we begin. Most retainers start within two weeks. A single campaign or an event can move faster when the date demands it.
What do I need to have ready before we start?
Very little. Bring your commercial goals, whatever brand assets you already have and access to your channels. If the brand itself needs work first, that happens inside the strategy phase rather than being treated as a prerequisite.
Where are your clients based?
Across Australia and overseas. Plenty of them we have never met in person, and it has never held the work back. When a shoot, an event or a launch needs someone on the ground, we travel and we build it into the scope.
Should I start with a project or a retainer?
Start with whatever is in front of you. Plenty of clients begin with one campaign or one event, see how the work lands, then move onto a retainer once they do.
Can you help with SEO?
Yes, and with the newer half of the problem too. Traditional search still matters, and so does being described accurately in the answers AI assistants give when somebody asks for a business like yours.
Do you use AI to do the work?
We use AI where it saves time or wins attention, and we are open about where. Drafting, resizing, subtitling, reporting and repurposing all move faster. The brief, the judgement and the final call stay human.
What if I already have someone doing my marketing?
Then we work around them. Sometimes the most useful thing is a second opinion on the strategy, or filling the one gap the current setup cannot cover. We will tell you honestly if you do not need us.
Can you work alongside my existing team?
Often that is the best setup. Your team knows the business and the customers. We bring the strategy, the senior execution and the parts nobody internally has time for, and we are clear about who owns what.
Why is the retainer a six month term?
Because anything shorter flatters the wrong things. Month one is discovery and setup, month two is when work starts landing, and the compounding does not show up until months three to six. A six month term is the shortest honest window in which you can judge whether the marketing is working.
What industries do you work in?
Thirty and counting, from construction and healthcare to law, sport, hospitality and industrial manufacturing. The channels change and the language changes. The discipline underneath does not, which is why a trade business and a specialist practice end up with the same quality of thinking.
Do you produce podcasts?
Yes, end to end. Format and guest strategy, recording days, editing, artwork, distribution and the short clips that carry most of the reach. It has become one of the strongest ways to build authority, particularly for founders, specialists and anyone who sells on expertise.
Do you work with clients outside Australia?
Yes. Time zones are a scheduling problem, not a strategy problem. The work runs the same way, and we travel when a shoot, an event or a launch needs someone in the room.
What happens at the end of the six month term?
We review what the work actually produced and decide together whether to continue, change tier or stop. There is no automatic rollover and no exit fee.
Do you write the content as well as plan it?
Yes. Strategy that arrives without the words and the assets is only half a job. Copy, creative direction, shoot days and scheduling are all part of the hours.
How involved do I need to be?
Heavily at the start and lightly after that. The discovery and the strategy need your time because they need your knowledge. Delivery runs on a monthly rhythm and a short check in.
Inside a retainer
Where the hours
actually go.
- A marketing plan measured against your commercial goals, not a content calendar in isolation
- Campaign strategy, creative direction and paid media across Google, Meta and the rest
- Social media management, from the calendar through to the comments
- Content production, including shoot days when the plan calls for one
- Podcast production, from the format and the guest list through to the clips
- SEO and AI search work, so your business is found and described accurately
- AI tools set up inside your business, with your team shown how to use them
- Event and activation support, from the first run sheet to the pack down
- A monthly report that says plainly what worked, what did not and what changes
How pricing works
Scoped before it starts.
Four tiers of monthly hours. We agree the scope at the beginning of the six month term, then account for every hour in writing.
The numbers are shared in your discovery call, together with an honest view of which tier you actually need.
Not sure which tier
Let's work it out
on a call
Thirty minutes, no pitch. We will look at what you are actually trying to move and tell you honestly which tier gets you there, including if that is the smallest one.
